LARDINI, F/W 2014/15

1682_pasini-aut-inv-1996-8If you i had to wear one brand for the rest of my life what brand would it be?  I may change my mind later on but right now i would have to say Lardini. The Lardini has been around for  while producing for other brands like Valentino and Salvatore ferragamo, but it’s their ready to wear line that’s slowly turning into a menswear cult.

The Lardini brand, as distinguished by lapel flower constructed from wool has it’s feet firmly placed on construction and fabric selection, looking at their fall winter collection it clearly puts them in a league if their own. Lardini is slowly bringing some pride to ready to wear garments in both the women and men’s section. Creative Director, Luigi Lardini has mastered Casual Italian tailoring at it’s best, I am yet to try on any of their garments but Lardini makes it really hard not to believe it fits as well they do on their models with their superb styling (props to the team) .I love the lapel size, functioning cuff and the bold and unique fabric selection which has become synonymous with the brand. , the I am particularly impressed with what the Lardini family have done with their female line, never has a suit looked so comfortable in a woman’s wardrobe.1682_lardini-donna-aut-inv-1996-81682_pasini-aut-inv-1996-91682_lardini-donna-aut-inv-1996-4_v21682_lardini-donna-aut-inv-1996-101682_pasini-aut-inv-1996-15photos courtesy of LARDINI
