I am always encouraging people to play Around with their wardrobe but it seems I never do. Coming from a t-shirt and pair of jeans background, stepping to a more sartorial plane sort of convinced me there was little room to play about without running into another rule of thumb. Lately without too much thought I have been trying to incorporate a little edge from my street wear days into my wardrobe, and these gum soled wallabees from Clarks couldn’t have picked a better time to make a comeback on my shoe rack. These shoes are a tad bit bulky so I knew pairing them with my heavily tapered pants wasn’t going to do the trick, plus my hate for pants with heavy breaks makes no room for full cut jeans, leaving me with the O.G trick from the cool kids style book, roll it up. With my pants rolled up i totally avoid any flow of silhouette between my shoes and pants, genius huh. un-constructured jacket by Ralph lauren, shirt by TM Lewin, Tie by Racing green, chinos by dockers, shoes by clarks original.
