VINTAGE FRIDAY, TWICE AS DAPPER

scan0002 On my quest to document style during the 50’s in Africa with focus on Ghana pre and post independence, I have unearthed a number of beautiful images that i am so excited to share with the rest of the world .These photos were sourced from  the private photo collections of certain individuals who have identified with my cause to document style in the golden 50’s.The photo above features two immaculately dressed Ghanaian gentlemen with an unsubtle appreciation for British tailoring. With Exaggerated lapels, a relaxed cut with more essence on fit, it’s very apparent our British colonial masters left traces of themselves in the wardrobe of the 50’s Ghanaian gentleman.I will be posting more photos from my research every now and then so be on the lookout, and kindly lend me your thoughts on this if you have any.thank you
