LOOK BOOK ♣ CASUAL FRIDAY INSPIRED

I am very familiar with frustration of surfing the internet in search of inspiration and ending up with nothing but ‘’blogger’’ looks. Simple and elegant ensembles have surprisingly become so rare especially on personal and street style blogs. I decided to put together looks with heavy influence from my everyday wardrobe with hopes of inspiring. Today’s look is casual Friday themed .

A.    A. Washed and faded color is the proper way to do color; it’s the perfect choice if you don’t want to look desperately colorful yet elegant and bold. The button down shirt screams uber casual especially without a tie, definitely a classic go to for casual Friday.  Alternatively you can switch up the shirt as shown below as long as you keep to your blues and browns, this shows how versatile the look is .

B.      B .The indigo wash denim, aka the best midfielder in the world. For usual conservative work environment the dark wash denim is the perfect candidate if you are considering denim. You can go for the light wash denim if your work environment is a lot less conservative .

C.     C.  The double monk straps have held on to the go-to footwear of choice for a minute now with no competition, yet. I love the silhouette of the double monk strap, and one undone buckle sends you straight to casual mode. ♣

D.      DMatch your leathers, the only sartorial lesson I got from the old folks. Keeping your choice of leather in harmony adds a cohesive touch to any ensemble. I love soft briefcases; they can take the rough ends of a busy day with no sweat.
